John Reynolds

John has practised as a Chartered Architect for over twenty years and was elected to the RIBA in 2004. He is experienced in sectors including healthcare, social housing, hotels and leisure, commercial & industrial development and private residential, and joined Aditus as a director in January 2017. He has been instrumental in the development of the practice and has designed numerous, large residential houses and developments, bespoke extensions, refurbishments and remodels of houses both large and small as well as looking after larger commercial clients.

Outside of architecture, John is the chairman of The Border Strathspey and Reel Society – a Scottish music society and regularly plays fiddle with them and violin in other amateur orchestral groups across the region; he is also a keen illustrator and writer, regularly adding to an online comic strip website, and has lots to say about the provision of local swimming facilities having spent much of his leisure time in chlorinated water.
